Josh Ronald, CPA, CMA

Partner, Chief Client Strategist


Josh brings 20 years of strategic experience to the table and has led hundreds of strategy sessions over the years, helping business owners navigate everything from sales growth and operational structure to mergers and acquisitions. With a natural ability to see the bigger picture, he thrives on solving complex challenges that go well beyond financials. He supports leaders in building long-term, actionable strategies that align their business with their personal goals, always bringing clarity to every conversation. 

As Chief Client Strategist, Josh works alongside our Senior Advisors, helping shape the strategy frameworks we deliver and mentoring our team through challenging client situations. He’s driven to understand the people, goals, and decisions that make a business work. He’s advised clients in a wide range of industries, including energy services, manufacturing, retail and hospitality, bringing insight, honesty, and a sense of fun at every step. 

Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Josh remains a loyal Roughriders fan and is often heard muttering, “There’s always next year.” After earning his Bachelor of Commerce and CMA, Josh began his career at Potash Corporation in Saskatoon before moving to Calgary in 2006 to join Stawowski McGill. Josh is known as the “guy who brings the fun,” especially when he’s enjoying a rum at the office’s Rhum Bar. Outside of the office, Josh spends time with his 3 wonderful children who constantly keep him on his toes and provide lots of laughs.
